As part of Oakland's Third Thursday Art Night, the Oakland Art Gallery is open late on third Thursday for receptions, artists' talks and other special events. See our homepage for the next event date.

Admission is free.

Please Note
The Oakland Art Gallery is located within the Oakland City Hall Plaza known as Frank Ogawa Plaza. The gallery's address, 199 Kahn's Alley, is a walkway within the plaza. One must walk onto the plaza to locate the gallery. The plaza is located between Clay and Broadway at 14th St. in Downtown Oakland. The gallery is on the ground floor of the 150 Frank Ogawa building (also know as the Lionel Wilson Building), which is directly across from City Hall.

Parking
Street parking is available surrounding Frank Ogawa Plaza. Parking garages are located at the corner of 14th and Clay St, 16th and Clay and the City Center. Parking at the 14th and Clay garage is free on Saturdays.

Driving Directions
*These directions will guide you to Frank Ogawa Plaza located on 14th Street between Clay and Broadway. You must then walk onto the plaza to locate the gallery.

Take the "18th and 14th Streets" exit
Go straight
Turn left on 14th
Turn Left on Clay
